Overview
Monee is a financial planning application that aims to help individuals and families cultivate good financial habits and eventually achieve their financial goals. The application provides tools and resources for budgeting, bookkeeping, and saving. The targeted audiences are those who are interested in achieving financial stability and planning for long-term goals, especially the younger generation.

The Challenges
- Data overload: Financial planning involves dealing with large amounts of data and information. The design should present this data in a clear and concise manner, without overwhelming the user.
- Security concerns: As a financial planning application, Monee will be handling sensitive user data. The design should instill a sense of trust and security in the user.
- Cultivating a habit: the core of this project is to help the users change their extravagant shopping habits. It is essencial to ensure the developed feature is cultivating and motivating.
The Solutions
- Data visualisation: The application incorporates visualisations such as charts and graphs to present complex data in a more digestible format.
- Strong security features: The application has robust security features, such as two-factor authentication and encryption, to ensure user data remains safe and secure.
- Bookkeeping: The application adopts a traditional bookkeeping feature with daily notifications to consistently generate opportunities for users to check on their finance, making it different from most money planner apps in the market.
